This has to be the best time of the year if you are narcoleptic. Just the fact that you can drive to work in the sunshine makes such a huge difference in the commute. It is easier to do all the things that you normally trog through. I actually sent my cleaning lady home early and finished my house myself – (ok she is painfully slow, 14 bucks an hour, and sharp as a box of rocks, so I had a driver there). My laundry is caught up and put away, and I have clutter free horizontal surfaces everywhere (for this I can thank my first cleaning lady/personal organizer – who was smart, efficient, could hold her own when discussing politics or philosophy, and sadly moved back to Vermont where there is an apparent abundance of smart efficient people.) I recommend the personal organizer if your house was as bad as mine. My clutter and I scared away a salesman after he invited himself into my house, serves the pushy ---tard right if you ask me. So I hired a hatchet lady to come in clean and declutter the house – best investment I’ve ever made! She showed no mercy, she would even give me homework. I burned ten years of mail, had to have the garbage company make an extra pickup, and fitted out the local consignment shop with tons of stuff from my house and closet. One of select friends, allowed into the clutter cave, came over and couldn’t believe how great my place looked. I’ve got Feng Shui! Now I’ll have to see how this goes in six months when we are on the dark side.

I just wish I could sleep 7-8 hours straight!

Good Napping!
Emma
