Hi guys!

I just got a copy of my sleep study results. I was diagnosed with Narcolepsy and am taking 200mg of Provigil each morning. It's helping quite well. I am a real nerd who just wants to know more about my results:

Polysomnography

Total Number of Hypopneas: 54
Average Duration: 25.3
Apnea/Hypopnea Index: 8.5
Total Number of Apneas: 0
Total Minutes Asleep: 397.0
Sleep Efficiency Index: 84.7
% Stage 1: 18.4
% Stage 2: 50.5
% Stage 3: 12.5
% Stage 4: 0.0
Total % Stage REM: 18.6
REM Latency: 52 minutes
Sleep Onset: 26.5 (There was a party going on in the hotel. I thought I was going to DIE because I couldn't fall asleep in my usual short amount of time--not that I was all that comfortable, either.)

MSLT
Total Number of Naps: 5 out of 5
Nap #1: Sleep Latency 2.5 min, 0 REM latency, 88.5% sleep time
Nap #2: Sleep Latency 3.0 min, 0 REM latency, 82.5% sleep time
Nap #3: Sleep Latency 3.5 min, 7.0 REM latency, 86.7% sleep time
Nap #4: Sleep Latency 3.5 min, 0 REM latency, 78.3% sleep time (housekeeping knocked on the d#@n door!)
Nap #5: Sleep Latency 1.5 min, 4.5 REM latency, 92.5% sleep time
Mean Sleep Latency: 2.8 min
Mean REM Latency: 5.8
Number of REM episodes: 4
Number of Naps with REM episodes: 2

It was REALLY hard to stay awake between naps 4 and 5!!

So...explain this more to me. All I know is that I wake up tire and can go to sleep immediately if given a chance.
