YES!!!! In fact, that's one of the reasons I'm back here(it's been awhile). I lost 24 lbs in a few mths after my diagnosis, primarily because of adderall and my disinterest in food. After zyrem, I've gained it all back. I eat like a glutton at night! Also, has anyone else delveloped a tolerance to xyrem? Im on the highest dose and I cannot sleep anymore! When I take the first dose, I try to sleep,but end up staying awake for hours w/ a ton of energy! Sometimes, I cant even sleep w/ the 2nd dose and dont go to bed til 4 am and I hafta go to work at 8! That def doesnt help the eds.! Most the time, though I fall asleep on the second dose and wake up in a couple hrs to raid the kitchen. The rest of the night I lay in bed half awake. I never had trouble sleeping before. I couldve won an olympic medal for that. Im afraid to go off the xyrem becuz since I started it, I have had NO cataplexy attacks!!! What do I do????
