It seems the only time when I'm fully awake is after midnight - say from 1 AM to 6 AM. This is the time when I can actually get work done (I'm trying to finish up my dissertation.) Do others have this experience? Is this common with people with narcolepsy? I'm not sure if I should try to fight it or just go with it (until I graduate at which point I'll be forced to synch my schedule up with the rest of humanity.) Is there any serious downside to indulging in this weird schedule (i.e. sleep from 6:30AM-1:PM) for the time being?
