Welcome to the forum.
I am fairly new to the diagnosis, too (May of this year). I am so glad to have a diagnosis finally, and my dh is finally beginning to understand. His not knowing what I was going through and my not knowing why almost ended our marriage several times as he thought I was just being lazy. I tried to tell him how tired I was but he often just said, "Yeah, I'm tired too, but I still get some housework done." (Yes, I am blessed to have a dh who helps ALOT around the house.) Now he understands a little better. Especially since I met a narcoleptic friend about 2 years before my diagnosis and her house was just as messy as mine. She and her husband DID break up about a year after I met her because he just refused to believe her (but they are working on reconciling now and he is trying to understand more). I am so thankful that I had her to confide in when I didn't know what was going on, and to talk to when I got my diagnosis. She has literally been a Godsend in my life. And both of us are born again Christians, too, so we can pray together too when things get rough.
Anyway, I am glad you came to the forum because others who are going through the same thing are the best source of help you can get other than God.
Welcome.
