Well welcome aboard! Glad to meet you although of course, we all wish it would be under different circumstances. I'm your age and I was diagnosed when I was 19...been participating in this forum for a couple of years. The greatest thing about this forum for me is that it's so nice to be reassured that 'it's not just me'--finding other people who have similar experiences, problems, and issues that are a part of living with this condition. It's very hard for some people to understand (despite their best intentions) so having people who can really relate to you is very comforting and theraputic. The people in this forum are just wonderful...always very knowledgeable, open, caring, sympathetic, and friendly, so this will be a great support for you.
Don't ever think a question is strange or dumb, because we've all been there and when you think of it, the entire narcoleptic experience is pretty strange--so we understand!Welcome aboard and best wishes to you!
