Provigil is making me miserable

OK, I am new to all of this and my doc gave me a script for Provigil, 400 mg./day. This was 10 days ago. By day 3 I had called his office because I was feeling awful (but awake) and he said give it at least a good week. Today is day 10 and I am not taking this medicine anymore!!!! I've been in constant pain with a rigid neck, stiff shoulders and back, eye pressure and wobbly legs and arms to name a few. I also found myself almost in tears because I couldn't find a top to match the pants I had on for work! What is this about? I'm not that emotional......Has anyone else had this experience? I know this works miracles for some people but not for me. I'm kind of worried about the long-term effects of regular amphetamines. I assume if taken properly they are safe. I don't know what my doctor is going to call me in yet but if he told me it was Provigil or nothing I'd say where is my pillow????? I just wanted to share my experience in case anyone else was having these issues.
