Hi SleepSpell,

Sorry to hear about your troubles but I want you to know that
there is hope. I have a wonderful employer who I didn't have to
tell about my Narcolepsy upfront but later found out just
through regular share/conversation. I've worked hard for this
firm and acted responsibly with my N. They know I have bad
days and there are times where I start mumbling and drifting off
but my good work outweighs the bad times. As the firm is
growing, without asking they have put up firm-wide nap rooms
and made conference rooms that have glass walls & doors (I
almost always fall asleep instantly in fully enclosed room). I
know this is rare and that I am fortunate but i wanted to share
my story to let others know that anything is possible. Don't give
up hope.

In any case, you shouldn't have to share your medical info
upfront. May I ask what industry or type of jobs you do? I think
any job is possible for a person with N given that responsible
measures are taken. Good luck and I hope you find a good firm.
