My boyfriend (aged 23) has been diagnosed a few years ago with narcolepsy. He takes regular medication & seems to be not too bad these days, and his sleeping is controlled, but it does seem to worry me that his sleep doctor continues to double his dosage. There will come a time when he has reached the maximum dosage and then what happens?
I love him very much, and I don't like to see that his life is controlled by this disorder. I'm willing to do anything I can to ensure he gets the best quality out of life especially while his still young.
Is there any lifestyle changes that we can adopt to try to assist his condition? Nutrition guidelines, exercise, other therapies etc?
Any feedback would be appreciated!!
