Overdose of sleeping to fight EDS

Hello:

Had apnea for a long time, but cured after the jaw and nose surgery...
But still have still extreme case of EDS....
Tried various stimulants, ritalin, provigil, betanamin, etc... wellbutrin.. and also some anti-depressants...
nothgin seeme to work..

had the sleep tests done several times... not quite narc but very close...
so categorized as idiopathic hypersomnia...

curiously, i have insonmia as well... a hang-over from usage of CPAP....
not using that anymore....

anyhow, through some personal experiments on my own...
if i overdose on sleeping pills (like 4x the recommended dosage), the next day EDS becomes somewhat manageable...

has any one had this experience?

i also wonder what would be side effects for this?

The two sleeping pills i am taking are:

zopiclone (40mg)
zolpidem (40mg)
