I'm struggling w/ xyrem. I appreciate Kafkar's advice to stick with it. It is my last hope of having a normal life. I didn't have too much trouble with 2.25 twice a night, but it took me an hour to fall asleep and it did not help my EDS at all. The third night on 3.0 I was throwing up in my sleep on the second dose. When I finally became awake I was more nauseous than I could ever imagine. Then I was sick all the next day. Last night I took only the first dose and did well and felt well today. Tonight I'm going to try both doses again, I think back to 2.25, but I'm scared to death to go to sleep. I had been heeding the 2 hr without eating direction. Tonight it will be 3 hrs and I'm already hungry. Any suggestions? I desperately need this to work.
