I just had my mslt done on Monday but am confused and frustrated about how it went. First of all, I was woken up at 5:30 and something happened where the tech was late for the mslt so someone else had to start the first nap which didn't happen until 9:00 am. I was really hungry and they didn't have any food and the tech told me that they might let me go out and get something..with all the wires on my head! Anyway, I managed to briefly nod off before the nap test, but don't think I slept during nap 1 (I was really hungry!). I did finally get food after nap 1. Then I know I slept during nap 2...but really felt like I was just spacing out during nap 3 and 4 instead of actually sleeping. The tech asked me if I thought I had slept and I said I didn't think so. I also got a terrible headache at lunchtime and had to take a bunch of ibuprofen but no one seemed concerned about that. Okay, this has become a long rambling story, sorry. Anyway, then I was sent home after the 4th nap...if they didn't have me stay for a 5th nap, does that mean the test was negative?
