Dear Y,
I can so relate to this, especially the fatigue
and misdiagnosis part. And don't you just love how
everyone thinks they're an expert on your
mysterious condition? Even the doctor didn't know
what it was for sure, and yet your girlfriend was
all, it's from eating flour. T_TI've had similar sleep issues for almost 10 years
now, and the cataplexy I think, though I thought
it was unrelated. I get it in my legs, sometimes
my legs just go kinda, well limp, and I'll trip
and get a sprained ankle.I get that falling asleep issue too. I start
dreaming a few seconds into sleeping, and my
dreams startle me back awake. I think I may have
narcolepsy since I've read up on it; but I have no
medical insurance so I guess I'll just have to
deal (I live in America).Anyways, I think you should see a sleep specialist
about it, instead of a doctor. Someone who can
easily recognize narcolepsy, you know?Good luck,
Pi
