I too have been diagnosed with Idiopathic Hypersomnia and in doing some research I found there are different versions of it. One is excessive night time sleep and a sleep problem during the day too and the is a shorter night time sleep and a sleep problem during the day. I fit into the shorter night time sleep type. I am using rittlan and prozac during the day and even a small amount of zanax. There is a corralation between hypersomnia and depression and or stress. I would strongly suggest that you look into seeing a physchiatrist and get an evaluation of what might be some of the underlying causes for what you are going through and stop messing around using drugs that you don't know enough about in relationship to other drugs you may be taking and your mental condition in general. I sincerely wish you the best of luck on this.
