Throughout school I have always been known to be sleepy.
My teachers would always be angry when I fall asleep, which I never figured out why I was so tired. I feel tired and go to sleep at 8-9 pm and I would fall asleep very soon, never had trouble falling asleep, lying in bed, etc. My friend once questioned me if I had some sleeping disorder and then I began to explore more. Although narcolepsy may have an impact on my life, the sleeping disorder has become more serious recently. Now my family says that I make noises when I sleep, apparently noises that sound like I'm having a wet dream. I make that noise every time I go to sleep, even if I'm half awake or doze off for like a few seconds. Funny thing is that I rarely hear the sound, even if I'm half awake. I wake up in the morning with a dry throat, so I know I probably make that noise all through the night. Now I'm having serious issues when in the public, because I feel sleepy every time, and I start to make that noise. I really hope I can get some treatment or recommendations regarding this disorder.
