Does Diabetes Run In YOUR Family?

I have found a strange pattern, in that all of the Narcoleptics that I've been in contact with, have Diabetes in thier family.
This would appear to indicate that Narco' & Diabetes run along-side eachother, or are genetically simular. (Well that's the only reason I can think of).

Does Diabetes run in your family?
