Actually, I just told someone else on the forum that I think I have some control over the sleepiness, but then I also think I more likely have IH than Narcolepsy. I can concentrate on staying awake if it hits me, but I can't do anything else. This is why I finally went for the test. I could stay awake in class but if I tried to concentrate on what the prof was saying or take notes, I would drift off. All I have to say on that note, terrible as it may sound, is thank God for drugs.
