How long did it take YOU to get diagnosed?

I'd be interested to know how long it took YOU to be diagnosed with Narcolepsy, from the time that you first went to the doctors.
From what I,ve seen, on average it is 20years & the change of 4 doctors, but I'd like to know what YOU experienced.
If what I have heard is correct, it shows that something is sadly lacking in the information that GP's possess.
