what's your opinion

I recently had a sleep study for snoring and excessive daytime sleepiness. I received the results..which were a possibility of having narcolepsy. The doctor told me that I go into rem sleep very quickly ~10-15 minutes. He was wondering if I was just very tired or if this was normal. I have to have a MSLT next week. What I am wondering is if anyone with narcolepsy experiences daytime sleepiness, etc without "falling asleep" at the wheel, or other inappropriate times.
