I agree with you in some ways, but what you've got to remember is that people are asking / giving advice, because there is a void where the medical proffession? are concerned.
Just because you don't have letters after your name doesn't mean that what your saying isn't valid, in fact quite the opposite. Who better to know how to deal with this condition than fellow Narcoleptics, who unfortunately due to this condition would probably be unable to become qualified, even if they wanted to.
Qualifications are NOT an indication of intelligence as in order to become qualified you must learn from other people, & not think for yourself. Qualifications simply show that the person has a good memory & can re-gurgitate information at the exam. Also, you need money to become qualified, so only the rich can achieve this status. This leaves the others, who would probably make far better doctors behind.
