Steve,

I must admit i know i have told people to get off a med etc. but only when they describe exactly what i was going through, again what i say is only advice, i am NOT a doctor, i am just another Narcoleptic that is tired of seeing all of us being drugged rather than treated. I know that all med's effect everyone differently, but if you look at what a lot of these drugs are they are amphetimines, anti-depressants, etc. and yes they may help some and maybe a lot of people a lot, but i just wish they could finally come out with something that TREATS Narcolepsy rather than drugging us and making us forget we have Narcolepsy! I am going to try to watch what i say because i agree with you some people could take advice too seriously. We just all have to try to help each other the best way we know how, by sharing our experiences.
