Greetings, I have just found this site and i have spent the last hour wiping away tears. I know what everyone here is going thru . I am so grateful that I have a mate who is loving and supportive . Disability is almost impossible to have approved at our ages. I have horrible memory problems and I take 40 mgs of paxil a day for an anxiety disorder.
The only good thing about this disablity( narcolepsy) is the weight loss from the meds. :)
currently I work at home . I am able to nap when I need to .I am joyfully grateful to God for blessing me with Dana.
I am online all day everyday ...mon -fri working . I am on aol too :)
my screen name is Nakita68.
I would love to listen to anyone who needs support and lets encourage each other. This diagnosis is a diffucult one since NOONE understands it.
Summer of 99 i ran into a police officer's car while driving ...that is how I found out I had it.
I was an inch from losing my license forever too.
I wish to hear from you .
Peace,
Michelle
