Only 3 Qualified Neurologists In The UK

Posted by John D. Lyle on February 01, 2000 at 12:08:53:

I discovered the other day, that here in the UK there is no qualification available, to Neurologists, dedicated to Sleep-Disorders.
In the USA there is such a qualification available, hence how Dr Williams, of St Thomas's Hospital, gained his qualification (In the USA). I understand that there are 2 other such qualified Neuologists, one in Scotland & another in Cambridge (England).
This of course means that here in the UK, most so called proffessionals have only spent mere minutes, studying Narcolepsy at University.

Please forgive me if this information is incorrect, but I can only quote, as I was told.
