When I had an EEG, in which I supposed to fall asleep, the room was far from a "sleepy atmosphere". Firstly, there was no heating on & I was shivering constantly. Secondly, once I was wired up, I needed the bathroom desperately, which naturally kept me awake & Thirdly there was some building work going on outside.
You may think that that was bad, but that's not the half of it.
The technician informed me about 15 minutes into the EEG that she'd forgotten to turn the power on (no joke) & then after the results which came back (inconclusive), I was told that I should have had a "control" EEG anyway, to see what my pattern was when awake.
Anyway, obviously I didn't manage to fall asleep, far from it. Laying there, shivering to death, hammering & drilling outside, with a full bladder about to burst is not the most relaxing experience I've had.I hope that yor experience is better than mine, & that you manage to fall asleep.
