Ineffectiveness of Provigil

I have been on provigil for over a month. I am now up to 800mg and have the OK from my doctor to go all the way up to 1000mg. Am I the only one this supposed "wonder" drug is not working for. Does anyone have suggestestions on any other drugs or lifestyle changes that make Narcolepsy better? I am desperate. I am sick of feeling like taking a nap all the time.
