I agree with Philip. You should really check with the makers of Provigil. My physcians told me that 400mg's daily was the limit. If you look back on
past forums you'll find alot of postings about other medications and combination of meds that others are taking to control their Narcolepsy.
Please be a wise consumer and check out what your taking and the amounts,etc. Most doctors mean well but not all are up to date on all the information about treatments, meds, etc. And there hasn't been a whole lot of study on narcolepsy. It's almost as if they've just started. But they're coming up with new info ever day. I've been trying to learn as much about this disorder that I possible can. Mostly through the internet but this form has been the best learning tool I've found. I think it's mainly due to being able to talk with others like myself who actually have the disorder. Keep learning and checking in. I think it will help you alot. Who knows if it's brought across right you might even be able to teach your doctor something new.
