I think you did the right thing -- leaving your job. Whether or not you were harassed -- and it sounds like you were a bit, it also sounds as if you and that job were not a good fit anyway. I have worked in retail for years, simply because all the moving around kept me awake. But I am sick of it and seeking a new direction. I am pretty academic and pondering law school -- just hope I can stay awake while I'm there.

Anyway -- ideally, a job in which one moves around a bit and keeps physically active, juggling numerous projects and activities, is probably one of the best jobs that can go with narcolepsy. A shift job with changing schedules and times is probably not.

Just do something that you love!
