Ron -

I understand completely. But this is the way I see it:

Provigil is the first medication I have taken for EDS. And because I don't fit into the exact parameters of any good diagnosis, the Doc is hesitant to prescribe a "real" stimulant (like Ritalin or Dexadrine).

With Provigil, I am not taking any naps during the daytime (weekdays). I feel relatively well rested. I have not experienced any episodes of Sleep Paralysis or Hypogonic (sp?) Hallucinations since 1-24-2000 (when I started taking Provigil).

I am just so happy about it, I can't explain. I feel that I am no longer sleeping my life away!!!

So whatever floats YOUR boat. :)

Angi
