mm, it's getting confusing now.

1) there is not that much knowledge on the
exact interrelations between energy expenditure,
metabolism, and sleep. so it's dangerous to
jump to conclusions

2)my thoughts on hypothyreoidism: EDS is not
a typical symptom, tiredness is! Those two are
not the same!

3)a think a bear lowers his metabolism to 'survive' a long time of hibernation. I don't
necesarily believe it has a direct relation to the
bear sleeping. Then again, there are experts
on hibernation, I am not one of them...
