Meditation and narcolepsy

Posted by Bill Murray on February 27, 2000 at 06:20:46:

I have never been able to meditate properly, since I fall into a light sleep as soon as my mind is relaxed. Searching the net, it seems that narcolepsy is the only thing approximating my situation. But it must be a mild form, I guess.
Has anyone managed to overcome this problem - ie remain awake although the mind and body are relaxed?
