"CAUTION"

Posted by Ron on March 19, 2000 at 19:08:44:

I was recently diagnosed with Narcolepsy/Cataplexy. I suffer from severe sleep apnea. I use a CPAP nightly. I tried taking cylert for EDS but caused problems.....
I began taking Provigil. I started to change. I felt like the provigil was working keeping me awake, but my legs and feet began hurting, eventually severe pain. Neuropathy! Now I take Neurontin. Some of the pain is still in my legs and feet but Neurontin has virtually eliminated the EDS for me and I sleep most of the night. I guess everyone reacts differently to medications. I can tell you this, Neurontin along with mega doses of Vitaman B and Folic acid have been a lifesaver for me!! I am really awake all day and actually functioning. The lord works in strange ways.
