Dixie,

I've actually tried to sleep until I'm not tired.
It was a Saturday, and I woke at 7am, so I laid in bed and thought about my day. Woke at 9:30, still felt tired, slept till 12,1,1:30, 2:30 - decided I'd better get up and take my thyroid medicine, maybe that was it. Ate some lunch in front of the TV, fell asleep. Woke at 4, took my dishes to the sink, stacked them in that huge pile of dirty dishes, and went to lay down on my bed. Slept till 5:30 when my boyfriend came home, he asked me if I wanted to go out for dinner, I said no, that I was too tired, he went out with our friends without me, and I fell asleep till 8:30. Got up for an hour and went to bed at 9:30. Slept through the night. Woke up at 7:30 on sunday and still felt exhausted.

I know I'm sick of the myth that "too much sleep can make you sleepy!"

Jen
