Alternatives to Provigil

Does anyone know of a provigil alternative like an herb? I have been taking for 6 months- do not have Narcolepsy, but fall asleep very quickly at desk or driving. I am changing Health Plans, cannot get Prescription for about 6 weeks. Decided to pay by myself, but it is $175 for 30 day supply!
