Jenny,

Are you on medication? I used to take amphetamines and they sent me "crazy". My mood swings were terrible and I had no control over them. I would go from being completly calm to hysterical in a split second. Then there were times when I would just become extremely withdrawn and depressed. As soon as I stopped taking the amphetamines my personality changed totally. I still have the odd bouts of depression but that usually comes with PMT. I don't know if you take medication but it could well be a side effect of this making your moods change. Or if you are using alcohol on a regular basis it could be that causing your depressive episodes and mood swings. If you feel that you are using alcohol excessively in order to block out your problem then maybe you could try going to see a therapist. It seems if this is the case your half way there just by recognising the fact you may have a problem.

Please let me know if your on medication especially if it is amphetamines.

Good luck

Emma
