Merrill -

I have been taking Provigil for 3 months now. I like it very much (considering the alternatives). I have never tried any of the amphetamines (sp?) and I really do not want to.

The main thing I noticed is about 6 - 7 hours after taking my Provigil, I become VERY apathetic. Something that has never happened to me. But if I split the dose 1/2 morning and 1/2 around noon. It is just smooth sailing. Keep this in mind.

I have also noticed the "strong" urine odor some other people have mentioned. I kinda think it may be a dehydration thing. Part of the reason I think this, is that I don't have to go to the restroom near as often. (So it is kinda a plus for me.) :)

Occasionally: I get a little shaky / jittery, but I can do that with just 1 cup of coffee. I notice that sometimes I clench my jaw (something else I have done all my life).

Others have mentioned: Headaches (very bad headaches) and an increase in cataplexy.

Good Luck

Angi
