Mitch,

In Sandman's defense, and since he does moderate this forum, his decisions are very important, I think a number of your posts seem very detatched from the research and information most of us are discussing.

I get the fact that you view Narcolepsy as a gift, and that your experience of living with Narc. for over 40 years helps you see beyond the traditional definitions and understandings of what Narcolepsy is. But when you explain things, sometimes it doesn't connect back to where we are at all with only our traditional understandings.

Some are much closer to understanding you, specifically, I think Jon and Patricia seem to really relate to what you're saying.

But I wish you would connect it a little more to just what I know about Narc. and my experience with it. For example, when you have a cataplectic attack, what do you mean you see people in another dimension? There are four dimensions that I know of, the three in our space (x,y,& z axis) and then time.

To me, it is important to understand how Narc. is going to affect my life in the dimensions I function in in reality. When you are explaining your view, sometimes you insist you are right without some of us understanding what in the world you are talking about.

So, since I have known about my Narcolepsy for, hmm, about three months now, please keep me in mind when you're explaining things, because I am very interested in your ideas, but I have to start from what I know, and although that is somewhat limited, I'm absorbing as fast as I can.

Thanks,

Jen
