Bottom line is there are several symptoms that come with narcolepsy. Cataplexy and sleep paralysis and hynagogic hallucinations are three of them. It has been known for some time that these 3 phenomena occur due to the emerging of REM sleep into wakefulness. In REM sleep you are dreaming and paralyzed and when this occurs during wakefulness you experience the visions and paralysis that you normally experience when you are sleeping. Now if you want to think of this as a gift and a religious experience that is up to you. However, if you want to talk about religion you should do so on a religion forum. Talking about cataplexy, sleep paralyses, hallucinations and excessive sleepiness and how to deal with them are what this forum is about and the focus is to help someone decide if they may need to see a specialist to see if they indeed do have narcolepsy and also share the information people use to deal with the disorder after they have been diagnosed.

I really have no time to debate you guys on this so please respect my wishes on religion and psychic experiences.

Thanks,

Sandman
