Sarah;

I hated Ritalin, I have been on Provigil for almost a year now and never had a problem with it at all until two months ago. That's when my doctor took me off imiprimine and put me on Prozac. At first they told me that it would take at least two weeks to get into my system and to be patient. From the very begining it made me feel like extreme PMS, very irritable. But then it started to make me more and more depressed. I got to the point that I didn't care if I ate, if I fed my kids, or even took care of myself. I was going to college at the time and got the first 'D' I have ever gotten. Until then I was on the honor roll. I took myself OFF prozac and informed my doctor. I will never touch it again. I am also taking Flax Oil, which contains omega 3,6,and 9. Fatty acids that are necessary for your body to produce new cells. My dr. ok'd it, and it seems to help with cataplexy and concentration. I hope this info helps. I know what it is like to feel like I'm in quicksand.
