Hi Sleepy,

I am in the same situation financially as you. I have a good job with benefits, 401k, all that. I cannot stop working, we would never be able to pay the mortgage and all the other bills without my salary, and disability would never cover it. So I feel trapped. It would be so much easier not to have to deal with this job right now.

I have been on Provigil for 1 week now (refer to previous posts). I really don't feel any better. This afternoon I slipped into a terrible, terrible state of depression. The feeling is so awful, I can't even find the words to describe it. The mornings are usually bearable, but this always seems to happen in the afternoons. Oddly enough, I usually rebound in the evenings (I'm almost ok now) and I end up going to bed too late becouse I feel better. There was a post a few days ago asking me about bi-polar or uni-polar depression, but I can't find it. I have been on antidepressents before (7) without sucess.
Anyway this is not a good time for me either, and unfortunately, I don't feel I will ever get better.
