Wow. A couple of interesting parallels. I was taking in excess of 140 mg Ritalin a day when another doctor took over my care and said "Well, if it's not working, let's get you off it." It wasn't working but I was trying to feel normal, so it was destined to fail. Out of the four times I was hospitalized for depression, two of them I believe were drug induced weirdness. I was ready to jump out of my skin, but I couldn't stay alert enough to make a clean break. :)

I'm feeling so much better (relatively speaking) and so grateful to have found my "way". I watch my diet, read a lot, don't drink, quit smoking, again! (but not until I started to feel better). Almost every day I take two naps a day, but I do have good days, too, and then I venture out into the world. I may only take one nap on a good day.

It was very cool to read your posts. Sounds like you're in a good place. Thanks for getting back to me.
