You never mentioned how far away you were on your visit. My kids take me any place I need to go if the drive is over 30 minutes. Even then I am pushing it some. I can usually drive for 15- 30 minutes without an episode on a good day. I think it is an individual decision as to where your limitations are. We all have different symptoms and at different levels. Maybe you just discovered one of your boundaries.
Some of us can not drive safely, and chose not to drive, but only you know what is safe.
