First I recommend talking to your doctor,besure to tell him/her of all symptoms and when they began.What you describe sounds like cataplexy with hypogognic hallucinations,but these symptoms maybe cause by alot of things not just narcolepsy.I would discuss having a sleep study done as well undiagnosed sleep disorders can be very serious.Also you dont mention having other symptoms of narcolepsy but that doesn't mean it isn't.I hope this helps.Please let us know how you make out.Good luck!
