Truman -

I have been on Provigil since January of this year.

Prior to this, I have only taken the following over the counter stimulants: ephidrine (sp?), Metabolife and an herbal (I forget which one but it is the one that "increases alertness"); and Phentermine (diet pills) for a month and a half.

I had to increase my doseage from 200 mg daily to 300 mg daily in early May. My DR bumped it up to 400 mg daily, but I don't want to over medicate.

The only other prescription med I take is Sinemet (dopamine - used primarily for Parkinsons) for Restless Legs Syndrome. I have, taken antibiotics and a very mild pain med (my regular DR knows I don't like taking strong pain meds) while taking Provigil.

Good Luck

Angi
