I'm just now switching to provigil. Was on Cylert
(37.5 mg per day) for about 15 years and very
happy with it, but decided to try something dif-
ferent. So far I've only taken it on my days off,
max 4 days in a row, and no negatives yet. I'd
thought Cylert was great compared to my pre-diagnosis days, though I would zone out by
9:00 pm. With Provigil now I've finally stayed
awake to watch a late movie, sleep just as well,
and wake up easier. No other meds. Some of the
side effects others have mentioned all sound like
dehydration - dry mouth, sore legs, concentrated
(smelly) urine, etc. Knowing this beforehand, I've
made sure to drink lots of water and I think it
helps. Good luck!
