Posted by Casey on July 01, 2000 at 06:04:36:Hi again,
I have been experiencing some nasty problems and I'm just wondering if htey could be related to Provigil. I know it can effect many people differently.
Just to refresh-I've been taking Provigil for 15 days now, 400mg a day. I really have not seen much of a benefit from it. On Tuesday the following things started happening: I have developed a severe headache that worsens and gets better. I get releif only briefly from otc meds (asprin, etc.). I've gotten very lethargic, feeling not just the usual "tired" but actually "weary", so exhausted that even thinking about doing something makes me tired. I have nausia, a very full or bloated feeling, and "intestional distress". I don't feel like eating, until I actually get hunger pains (nausia and hunger pains at the same time--great huh?). My brain feels foggy. I've also been having heart palpatations. Just generally feeling awful.
I visit to my Chiropractor on Wed. failed to relieve the headaches (thats the first thing I do when I get headaches).
I thought it could be a virus of some sort, but it would have run it's course by now.
My Doc is on vacation. I'm going to stop the Provigil for a day or so and see it I improve.
Meanwhile, it's a beautiful day outside and the grass needs to be cut, and I'm sitting here like a mo-mo.
Just wondering if anyone else has had these problems.Sick and tired,
Casey
