I have been on 200mg. provigil for about 18 mths.And it has been working very well for me.I have read that there can be side effects from it,so this may be why your doctor started you on such a low dose. The only one I have ever noticed has been mood swings.Which I now controll with a low dose of zoloft.It is possible that I haven't had much problems with side effects because I take a lot of other medications that might counter balance them.On thursday I have an appointment with my doctor to see about increasing the dosage because it seems to be breaking down in my system,but I am told this is normal.I can only say try it for a few weeks and see what happens.I hope this helps.Good Luck!
