I was lying face down going back to sleep, I felt my body getting heavier
and heavier. I felt some vibrations and some ting-a-ling sensations. Then I
started feeling my body get paralyzed. As the vibrations and heaviness went
on, I couldn't move nor talk. I think I recalled seeing some pictures
(hypnagogic hallucinations?) behind my eyelids, but I'm not too sure. I
didn't hear any buzzing sounds, nor sensed a presence like most people claim
they do during sleep paralysis. Sometimes I went into a dream after the
sensations. Other times, I would snap out of it by moving a leg. If I went
back to sleep, it would come back again. I also recall 'THINKING that I got
up to turn the computer on in my room' a couple of times only to find that I
was STILL in bed, and the computer was still off. One time when I was in the
paralyzed state, I heard music only to find that the stereo wasn't on when I
woke up. The music sounded like Old School/R&B/Hip Hop. I actually liked the
experiences and sensations. Was this sleep paralysis that I was
experiencing? What do the vibrations and ting-a-ling sensations mean? What
does the heaviness mean?
