I know what you mean about emergency rooms,I've been in so many I can pretty much tell which one I am in just by looking around.I have also been sent to an emergency pysch unit numerous times,when the doctors thought I was faking or they just didnt feel like dealing with me.I have always found that if my breathing stops for to long a begin coughing voilently and then my breathing restarts,but usually when my oxygen gets low my breathing starts on its own.You should probably mention this to your doctor,he may have some better ideas.Please let me know if you find out anything.Good Luck!
