Posted by Susan on July 27, 2000 at 18:37:33:Boy what a day...I started taking Dexidrine at about 10:00 am this morning and it was as if a vail was lifted from my brain. I did not have any depression and was alert and very responsive. I did not know that this was a "security" drug. When I went to pick up my prescription, the pharmacist told me that she had faxed a form to my insurance company for their approval and they would send it to my sleep doc who would then send it to the pharmacy. Since the drug was only $11.00 for the prescription, I went ahead and paid. Has anyone else run into this?
