I've been trying to take Provigil off and on for over a year. I finally stopped taking it also. I'm happy for the ones it's helped. And I hope it continues to help others. But what I wanted to share with you is that I presently take Effexor XR
(which is time released) and at one time was on
Ritalin. I didn't see much difference with the sleep thing but I did see a change in my mood. I share this not to scare you but to let you know that Ritalin can effect your mood. Alot of people to very well on it. I hope that's the case with you. As for me I'm going to follow your example and go for a second opinion. Keep in touch.Deb
